- In cooperation with private-sector initiatives, more art galleries should be established in the city.
- In cooperation with the private sector, swimming pools and health clubs should be opened so that adults, as well as school and college-going children, can have the opportunity to take care of their health, as well as enjoy and learn swimming. Lack of play grounds, parks etc. made this facilities imperative within the city.
- More parks should be established. Existing parks and gardens should be properly maintained for public use. A special community police force should be established to protect parks, play grounds and other recreational facilities.
- Every ward should be encouraged to set up football, cricket, hockey and other sports teams. Competitions should be arranged every year.
- More recreational facilities and sports grounds for children should be opened in various parts of the city so that all children have access to outdoor recreation.
- The City Corporation should take the initiative to set up a world-class public library.
- Every primary school, high school and college must be involved in every game and join the competition every year.
